I play-ես խաղում եմ

You play-դու խաղում ես դուք խաղում եք

He, she it plays-նա խաղում է

We play-մենք խաղում ենք

They play-նրանք խաղում են

Հիշենք, որ 3֊րդ դեմք եզակի թվում (he, she, it) ավելացնում ենք -s-մասնիկը՝ plays, works, runs

Հարցականի ժամանակ օգնության ենք կանչում Do և does օժանդակ բայերին, իսկ

Հարցականի և ժխտականի ժամանակ 3֊րդ դեմք եզակի թվի (he, she, it) ավելացրած -s-մասնիկը՝ plays, works, runs վերանում է՝

Do I, you, we play?

Բայց՝

Does he, she ,it play?

Ժխտականի դեպքում Do և does օժանդակ բայերին ավելացնում ենք -not- մասնիկը։

I, you, we, they do not/ don’t play-ես, դու, դուք, մենք, նրանք չեն խաղում

He, she, it does not/doesn’t play- նա չի խաղում, օրինակ՝

I work hard. Do I work? I don’t work.

She sings well. Does she sing well? She doesn’t sing well.

Այս ժամանակաձևի հետ գործածում ենք հետևյալ բառերը՝ usually-սովորաբար, always-միշտ, sometimes-երբեմն, seldom-հազվադեպ, often-հաճախ

Եթե բառը վերջանում է -y- տառով և եթե -y-ին նախորդում է բաղաձայն, ապա -s- -es-մասնիկը ավելացնելուց առաջ – y- տառը դառնում է -i- հետո նոր ավելանում է -s- -es-մասնիկները:

Տեքստից դուրս գրեք ածականները, օրինակ՝ beautiful, big, small, full, different, warm, cold, largest, large, lot, long

Ածականները լինում են

պարզ /big, small/

բարդ /beautiful, interesting/

Պարզ ածականների համեմատության և գերադրական աստիճանները կազմում ենք բառին ավելացնելով -er- և -est, օրինակ՝

big- երկար bigger -ավելի երկար the biggest-ամենաերկար

small-փոքր smaller-ավելի փոքր the smallest-ամենափոքր

hot -շոգ hotter-ավելի շոգ hottest-ամենաշոգ

long-երկար longer-ավելի երկար longest-ամենաերկար

Եթե բառը վերջանում է -y- տառով և -y- տառին նախորդում է ձայնավոր, ապա ոչ մի փոփոխություն տեղի չի ունենում, իսկ եթե վերջանում է y- տառով, որին նախորդում է բաղաձայն, ապա y–ը դառնում է -i- նոր ավելանում է -er- և -est, օրինակ՝

easy-հեշտ, easier-ավելի հեշտ easiest- ամենահեշտ

happy -երջանիկ happier-ավելի երջանիկ, happiest- ամենաերջանիկ

Բառավերջի -e-ն սղվում է -er- և -est վերջավորություններից առաջ, օրինակ՝

brave -քաջ braver-ավելի քաջ, bravest-ամենաքաջ

Բարդ ածականները կազմվում են more most բառերի օգնությամբ, օրինակ՝

beautiful- գեղեցիկ more beautiful- ավելի գեղեցիկ, the most beautiful-ամենագեղեցիկ

comfortable- more comfortable- the most comfortable

Կան նաև բացառություններ

good- լավ better- ավելի լավ the best- ամենալավ

bad – վատ worse- ավելի վատ the worst- ամենավատ

Օրինակներ՝

She is more beautiful than her friend. նա ավելի գեղեցիկ է, քասն իր ընկերը։

It is the biggest chair. Սա ամենամեծ աթոռն է։

Her room is smaller than her brother’s room. Իր սենյակը ավելի փոքր է, քան իր եղբոր սենյակը։

Հետևյալ նախադասությունները գրեք և՛ ներկա շարունակականով, և՛ անցյալով։

She runs to me. -She runing to me. — She ran to me.

They come from America. — They coming from America. — They came from America

I ask a question. — I asking a question. —  I asked a question.

We have a shower. —  We having a shower  — We had a shower.

He eats an apple. — He eating an apple.- He ate an apple.
